Terms of service & refunds
Effective October 23, 2026. These terms govern PHP Version Checker, operated by Mizhi Smart.
Authorized use
Only submit websites you own or have permission to check. Do not use the service to abuse websites, evade rate limits, access private networks, or conduct intrusive security testing. We may limit or suspend abusive use.
Scope and accuracy
This service inspects publicly advertised PHP headers and compares version strings against reviewed release information. It does not establish vulnerability exploitability, certify security, verify patch installation, test application compatibility, or guarantee uninterrupted availability. Hidden versions, stale or incorrect headers, vendor backports, and network restrictions can affect results. Independently verify the actual web runtime and installed patches before acting.
Credit packs
Purchases are one-time payments in US dollars, with any applicable checkout taxes shown by Stripe. One credit submits one unique URL for a check. Duplicate normalized URLs within one batch are charged once. Distinct URL paths count separately. Hidden versions, blocked requests, timeouts, and unreachable sites count as checks because the request is attempted. Invalid URLs rejected before a batch is accepted are not charged. Unused credits do not expire. This service does not renew your purchase automatically.
Access and reports
Save your recovery key before buying. You are responsible for keeping it private. Bulk reports are retained for 30 days, so download CSV reports you need to keep. We cannot recover a lost key from its stored hash; contact us with your Stripe receipt or order identifier if you need assistance, and do not email the key.
Refunds
Contact us within 14 days of purchase to request a refund for unused credits. For a partially used pack, eligible refunds are proportional to its unused credits at the purchase rate. If a service malfunction consumes credits without delivering the promised check, contact us with the batch and payment identifiers so we can investigate and restore credits or refund the affected amount. A hidden PHP version or a target website blocking the request is an expected check outcome, rather than a service malfunction. Mandatory consumer rights apply regardless of this policy.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses resulting from reliance on a public version check. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may change the service or these terms and will publish an updated effective date.
