Clarity for your PHP inventory.
PHP Version Checker is an independent website operated by Mizhi Smart. It helps website owners and teams identify the PHP versions their websites publicly advertise and compare them with upstream support dates and selected security releases.
What a check does
We request the URL you submit with an ordinary GET request, follow up to three redirects, and read the public X-Powered-By and Server headers. We discard the response body. We do not submit forms, attempt logins, guess administrative paths, or send exploit payloads. Normal requests may appear in your website’s access logs.
What a check can tell you
A version in a response header is evidence of what the website advertises. It does not prove the installed runtime or patch status. CDNs, proxies, cached headers, vendor backports, and separate application pools can affect the result. Unknown results are normal and do not mean a site is vulnerable or secure.
Where our release data comes from
Our reviewed reference data comes from PHP’s support schedule and the official October 2026 security advisory. The version comparison covers CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619; it is not a comprehensive vulnerability database. Last reviewed October 23, 2026.
Free and bulk checks
Single-website checks are free with reasonable rate limits. Bulk credit packs let teams submit multiple URLs, revisit private results for 30 days, and download CSV reports. Open the bulk checker.
